Grey’s Anatomy season 14: Jesse Williams comments on Sarah Drew, Jessica Capshaw exits
Here is what Williams had to say on the exit in a series of posts on Twitter:
“Sarah and Jessica are easily among my very favorite people and coworkers, so this news f—in sucks. Their immense talent speaks for itself but it’s them as people that I’m so grateful to know, privileged to have worked with and learned from … To say they’ll be missed is a massive understatement. Luckily for all of us, we’ll get to see these artists continue bringing compelling and complex characters to life for many moons to come!”
Now, we just have to hope that ABC does figure out the proper way in which to write these two characters off the show in a way that makes some element of sense. That’s not going to be an altogether easy thing to do because we’re talking about two people who have been on the show over nine years, but we’ll give Shonda Rhimes and Krista Vernoff somecredit — they know how to tackle tough situations. We just hope that the actors are not killed off. It wasn’t either of their decision to leave, and we would like to see it so that they have the freedom and flexibility to return at some point down the road. In the event Grey’s Anatomy ever does end (it does have to have an ending at some point, right?), we would absolutely love to see some of these characters get a chance to return for one final blow.

Hopefully, both of these actors are going to be around until the finale, that way there is some sort of proper time in order to properly write out their future.
