Top Chef season 16 premiere date hopes: When should it air on Bravo?

Top Chef season 16 premiere date

Following tonight’s finale, what should the Top Chef season 16 premiere date be on Bravo? That’s a good question, and one certainly worthy of exploring.

First, let’s touch on what we know about this season — starting with of course the fact that it has already been renewed. Not only that, but to go along with it Bravo has even gone so far as to confirm the next setting. Season 16 will be taking part in Kentucky, a subject you can read more about over at the link here or also watch in the video below. (Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube Channel for more videos!)

Kentucky is a very good setting for the show in that culturally, it is pretty different than anywhere else that the series has been. While you do have some of the similar Southern cooking staples that were a part of Top Chef: Charleston, at the same time you also have some of that folksy, woodsy food. Things are a little more earthy in Kentucky, seafood is a little bit less of a staple, and you have a lot of food inspired by the wilderness. We’re expecting more game means, more spices, and a heck of a lot more barbecue. Expect the outdoors to play a pretty big role in what we end up seeing.

The great thing about Top Chef, other than of course the series itself, is that it has the backing of a great network in Bravo that seems to be absolutely intent on allowing the series to shine in just about every way that they can. We don’t foresee it ending anytime soon, especially since there continues to be a rise in food culture and there are so many up-and-coming chefs in the industry. We see these trends all continuing and with that, we imagine that there are going to be many more opportunities in the years to come to see some of the next great chefs in action.

Be prepared for the Top Chef season 16 premiere date to be in the late fall; this is the tradition that we’ve seen with this franchise many times over and we absolutely do not exact to see it changing in the future. This time just works extremely well for the series since it allows the show time to film in the summer and it can take advantage of a light holiday schedule.
