The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 17 video: Sheldon vs. Kripke

The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 17The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 17 is going to be a fun episode, mostly because you’ve got two things that we always love with this show — high stakes as well as returning familiar faces. For the sake of Thursday night’s all-new episode, this notable returning face is none other than Barry Kripke! The character, played by John Ross Bowie, has been popular from his first introduction to the series — both in terms of comic relief as well as being a significant foil for Sheldon Cooper.

So what does the promo below tease? This video largely serves as a means of setting the table for what one of the biggest conflicts at the heart of this season is going to be. In one corner, you’ve got Sheldon and Amy, who are very much in the thick of the search for a wedding venue. Unfortunately, one of the problems that they could be running into here is the fact that Barry Kripke has already booked their desired date at said venue. In order for Sheldon and Amy to now get the date in which they want for the ceremony, they are going to have to go through someone who they may consider to be one of the last people they want to deal with. Kripke is a guy who, occasionally, likes to take pleasure in Sheldon’s frustrations. Yet, he also had a heart, and we’re confident that at some point during this episode, some sort of agreement is going to be reached.

Along the way, though, there is a reasonably good chance that we’re also going to be able to see some hijinks and hilarity. That’s a big part of what makes this show what it is — also, it’s Sheldon’s wedding. Expecting an easy ceremony would be like expecting that Sheldon would be able to go to a train convention and not completely freak out.
