iZombie season 4 episode 3 preview: ‘Brainless in Seattle’

Robert Knepper

There are a few different things that are exciting about iZombie season 4 episode 3 and they start off with this: The idea that we are getting a two-part episode coming up in the future. This installment is hopefully going to offer up a chance to see something a little bit romantic, something that comes across as hilarious, and then on the other side of it all a chance to see what potentially could be a cliffhanger at the very end. It’s rather unusual to get a two-part story like this within the middle of the season, and with that we have to assume that there is some sort of interesting narrative push within it … something that we are more than excited to learn more about.

Below, the iZombie season 4 episode 3 synopsis gives us a good sense as to what is coming up:

LOVE IS A MANY SPLENDORED THING, PART 1 – Love is in the air after Liv (Rose McIver) eats the brains of a hopeless romantic, and she can’t stop herself from meddling in Clive’s (Malcolm Goodwin) relationship. Major (Robert Buckley) and Liv continue to try to work through their differences. Meanwhile, Blaine (David Anders) is approached with an interesting offer. Rahul Kohli, Aly Michalka and Robert Knepper also star. Michael Wale directed the episode written by Heather V. Regnier (#403). Original airdate 3/12/2018.

As for the latest ratings…

We’ll try to give you a few updates on this subject as we move throughout the season; for the time being, what we do know is that the premiere drew just a 0.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic coupled with a little over 1 million viewers. This did mark a decline in one measurement from the previous premiere; however, in the other it was a slight improvement. We’re hoping to see the series find a way to be renewed for another season but, at least at the moment, there isn’t all that much when it comes to a clear light at the end of the tunnel.
