Chicago Med season 3 episode 12 includes a lawsuit, two tough cases

Chicago Med season 3 premiere

NBC’s Chicago Med airs on Tuesday night and time and time again, this show always keeps us on our feet with suspension and intensity. Coming up on March 20, the hospital will have to deal with plenty of intensity courtesy of an impending lawsuit, as well as two medical cases that will leave the doctors with some tough decisions to make.

For more, take a look at the official synopsis courtesy of the network:

03/20/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Tuesday) : DR. MANNING AND DR. CHOI ARE FACED WITH A TOUGH DECISION – MICHEL GILL GUEST STARS – Upon hearing news of a pregnant teen, Dr. Manning (Torrey DeVitto) and Dr. Choi (Brian Tee) venture to a homeless encampment to help deliver a baby under dire circumstances. Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) and Dr. Bekker (Norma Kuhling) argue about the best way to treat a young boy with a chronic disease. Dr. Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) and April (Yaya DaCosta) are put in an uncomfortable situation when they find out their patient is a pedophile. Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) and Maggie (Marlyne Barrett) have to deal with a lawsuit against the hospital. Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) learns of important news pertaining to Dr. Reese’s (Rachel DiPillo) father (guest star Michel Gill). TV-14 L”

After the events from last week’s episode it’s going to be interesting to see whether or not Natalie is still recovering from her head injury by the time this episode airs. In addition, does the lawsuit Goodwin and Maggie are going to be dealing with relate to Barry not really being Barry after the drive up shooting he and Natalie were in? It certainly seems that way, especially since it sounds like Maggie is directly involved with the lawsuit. In other words, because she knew Barry better than anyone else at the hospital she may be trying to help the hospital fight the lawsuit.

Within this episode we will also see Connor and Ava back to their arguing ways. In the past couple of episodes they have remained civil and close to being friends. However, for this week it seems like they will once again be fighting for dominance, which we are excited about because we love the dynamic between the two.

Finally, Natalie, Will, April, and Ethan will have two cases that will present their own unique challenges. For Natalie and Ethan, they will have the task of delivering a baby in a non-sterile environment with limited medical supplies. Of course, we know that the two will solve the problem the best they can, but we are excited to see how they will overcome it. For Will and April, we have to treat a patient who many will believe she not receive treatment at all. They have to by law treat the pedophile and his condition, but they certainly don’t have to like it. So it will be interesting. to see how they will handle this.

Chicago Med airs, as mentioned, Tuesday at 10 p.m. on NBC. For more news related to Chicago Med, be sure to visit this link.
