Agents of SHIELD season 5 episode 12 preview: The 100th episode
Will the character actually be featured? We’ll wait and see what unfolds over the course of this episode. This is going to be an exciting, dramatic hour of television that helps to celebrate the show’s overall legacy. It’s incredible, for starters, that we even have the show making it this far! Who would’ve thought that we would’ve been so lucky to get to this point earlier on in the series’ run? This was a program that, at least for a while, we were assuming was going to end. The third and fourth seasons weren’t exactly highly-rated and with that in mind, we weren’t altogether optimistic for whatever the future was going to be.

In the milestone 100th episode, Coulson finally reveals the mysterious deal he made with Ghost Rider, which will impact everyone on the S.H.I.E.L.D. team.
This episode serves a great purpose in tying together a loose end, one that we know many out there have wanted to see virtually ever since Coulson made that deal last season. Beyond that, though, this could be a catalyst that really accelerates things forward moving into the remainder of this season. Tonight was basically the halfway point of the episode; there are still eleven other episodes to come and there could be some remarkable things that we get a chance to see over the course of them. It’s still, unfortunately, not clear as to whether or not this is the final season.
