Big Brother Canada 6 debate: Who should you vote for?
Who should you want to vote for? As we explain both in the video below as well as within this article, there are reasons to focus in on some players over others depending on what you are going for. Note that we’re drawing from CarterMatt’s own experiences doing Big Brother Canada pre-game interviews for our impressions on some of these people.
Merron – He’s a nice kid, and probably the best choice between the two guys if you want that sort of high-energy fan player in the house. It does feel like there are some other people who fill that role elsewhere, but Merron comes across as someone who is going to play hard and show off his love of Big Brother without going into overdrive with it.
Michael – Basically, pick him if you just want to see someone wreck themselves in the house and be evicted within a few weeks. He’s going to relish the opportunity to be aggressive and devious, but he’s not going to be a puppet-master as much as he may think. His ceiling is a poor man’s Dr. Will and the floor is Jeff Weldon. He’s more likely to be a more entertaining version of Jeff Weldon.
Veronica – She’s very nice and she does have an infectious personality. Yet, she also knows nothing about the game. If you want to see someone make the final five without having too much of an impact, she’s your pick — or if you just want to see someone look like a deer in headlights for a few weeks trying to understand the game. Sometimes, this can be fun — just ask Metta World Peace.
Kirsten – If you want an ultimate Big Brother fan and someone who is really going to appreciate the chance to play, this is your choice. The show’s billing her as a devil and we don’t actually buy that all that much — she’s devious, but she’s not going to be the biggest villain in show history. Basically, a vote for her is a vote for many in the BB community whose dream is to appear on the show.
Ultimately, this is why we think voting for Merron and Kirsten is the right move to make. While Michael could actually be better TV than either one of them just because of his arrogance, we want to see people make it on who really want this opportunity and will make the most of it. It’s too feast or famine with Michael and Veronica — one of them is likely to go early and their only appeal is entertainment, which they may or may not bring.
