911 episode 8 preview: A story of karma

911 episode 8

Moving into 911 episode 8 on Fox, just how important is karma going to be? Well, it is in the very title of the episode! We’re looking ahead here to the March 7 installment entitled “Karma’s a B—h,” one installment that is going to revolve in part around consequences for some people who have done some bad things. As for how tied some of these things are going to be to the show’s main characters, that remains to be seen — our feeling, though, is that some of these people are going to be at the mercy of our leads in one way or another.

Below, the 911 episode 8 synopsis offers up a little bit more insight regarding what is coming up on the series next:

What goes around comes around for an unremorseful widower, an arrogant fitness club owner and an unsuspecting thief. Meanwhile, Bobby gets a surprising phone call from his doctor after donating at Chimney’s blood drive, and Athena confronts Michael after having a heart-to-heart with their kids in the all-new “Karma’s A B—h” episode of 9-1-1 airing Wednesday, March 7 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

This episode, at least on the surface, feels like it’s going to be an almost perfect combination of things — you are going to see some drama in the form of some karmic retribution, and on the other side of that there are some big stories ahead when it comes to specific characters. This episode should be a great combination of everything that you’ve come to know and love about the series to date. It is also the beginnings, effectively, of what should be the home stretch for 911 given that there are only a handful of episodes to go. The series has already been renewed for a second season, and we wouldn’t be altogether shocked if that season runs for a little while longer. You are talking about a series that is , as of right now, averaging a 1.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic. This is better than just about everyone other scripted show on Fox save for Empire, and it could match that soon if the ratings continue to decline at the current rate in which they are.
