Lethal Weapon season 2 episode 17 preview: Riggs, Molly, and what’s next

The title for this installment is “The Odd Couple” and at the heart of the story is an opportunity to see him try to figure out a way in which to make things work for the two of them.

After the fatal end to an argument on a construction site, the squad works to untangle facts about the incident. Meanwhile, Riggs struggles to rekindle his relationship with Molly, Trish’s job is on the line as she tries to close a big deal at work, and Murtaugh gets one last chance to make it right at home in the all-new “The Odd Couple” episode of LETHAL WEAPON airing Tuesday, March 6 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Whether it be with Trish, with Murtaugh, and with some other characters on the show, there are going to be a number of different surprises we could see. This episode could be important resetting where things stand with many of these characters — it really should be when you start to think about the fact that there’s a hiatus coming up leading into March 13. Whether or not the hiatus is longer than a week or so remains to be seen; Fox’s schedule only announces dates a certain period of time in advance.

We do think that there will be a good bit of comedy within this episode — after all, the title is a reference to one of the greatest comedy series of all time. Ironically, the remake stars Thomas Lennon, who ironically is not apparently going to appear within this episode despite the obvious connections that are present here.
