Quantico season 3 spoilers: Is Alex Parrish’s mother coming back?
In a new post on Twitter, actress Anna Khaja (who plays Sita Parrish on the series) responded to some set photos featuring her and Priyanka Chopra with a very telling winky-face. (Yes, we just wrote “winky-face” in a news article.) It’s been a while (think season 1) since we last saw Khaja on the series and that brings with it quite a few questions. What could she be doing now, and what’s the current state of her relationship with Alex? “Complicated” is absolutely one way in which to describe the dynamic in which these two characters have based on the story that we’ve seen so far.
Quantico season 3 will premiere later this year and we know that there are many changes in general that you will see. There are several cast changes and, to go along with that, a new showrunner on board in Michael Seitzman of Code Black fame. While the goal is to still have a lot of the drama and action of the first two seasons, one of the goals seems to be trying to tell a more simplified narrative with a few less of the crazy twists / turns we saw in the past with all of the time jumps.
Since filming Quantico Khaja has absolutely been rather busy, appearing on such series as The Good Place, Stitchers, The Good Fight, Madam Secretary, Silicon Valley, Shooter, and the upcoming drama For the People. She’s got one of the most extensive resumes out of any performer out there without a permanent series-regular gig at present.
