iZombie season 4 episode 2 preview: The story of ‘Blue Bloody’

iZombie season 4 episode 2

iZombie season 4 episode 2 will be coming onto The CW in one week’s time and signs point to this episode being a fun one. For one, the episode is entitled “Blue Bloody,” which really just makes us think that there’s going to be a zombie version of Tom Selleck running around. That seems unlikely. Still, there’s going to be all sorts of other great stuff! You’ve got another appearance from Jessica Harmon (who does a good job bouncing back and forth between this show and The 100) and to go along with that, some interesting relationship complications. The main case itself feels a little bit like Clue meets Downton Abbey and we’re all about that.

Below, the iZombie season 4 episode 2 synopsis gives you a little more of a sense as to what’s coming:

THE STRUGGLE IS REAL – It’s a real-life game of clue for Liv (Rose McIver) after she eats the brains of a despicable dowager and must determine which one of her disgruntled servants killed her. Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) and Bozzio (guest star Jessica Harmon, “The 100”) are struggling to maintain a healthy relationship. Meanwhile, circumstances place Major (Robert Buckley) and Liv in opposition to one another. Rahul Kohli, David Anders, Aly Michalka and Robert Knepper also star. Michael Fields directed the episode written by Dean Lorey (#402). Original airdate 3/5/2018.

There are a few other things unrelated to the story that we’re curious about when it comes to this story; most notably, we’re referring to the new timeslot. This is a show that has bounced around a little bit in terms of its timeslot and premiere date; hopefully, Legends of Tomorrow ends up being a good companion for it! If there is one thing that the two shows have going for themselves at the moment, it’s simply this: They suit each other well in terms of style and tone. Both are silly, fun, dramatic when they need to be, and also imaginative. They’re the sort of shows that are a great proof-of-concept that The CW doesn’t receive nearly enough credit for some of their programming.
