Scorpion season 4 episode 18 preview: The bank robbery hostage crisis

Scorpion season 4 episode 18, at least on paper, is going to feel like a perfect combination of similar and yet different. For example, you’re going to be Team Scorpion in yet another difficult crisis situation — yet, this is not going to be in any way similar to what they’ve faced before. This is not a mission that they are hired to solve; instead, it just seems that they are in the wrong place at the right time in order to stop a robbery. They won’t have some of their typical faculties and with that, they’ll have to think off the top of their noggins in order to figure out how to save the day.

The Scorpion season 4 episode 18 synopsis below gives you a little bit more insight — while at the same time also setting up a potential romantic story for Sylvester at some point with Florence:

“Dork Day Afternoon” – Team Scorpion inadvertently crashes a bank robbery in progress and is taken hostage. Also, Sylvester’s feelings for Florence grow, on SCORPION, Monday, March 5 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Is now the right time for a Sylvester – Florence romance? It feels that way. It’s been some time since the death of Megan and he deserves a chance to be happy — also, with Scorpion’s fate beyond this season currently unclear we do think that it’s smart to try to set in motion good things for many of the characters. There’s absolutely plenty to explore still for a season 5 no matter what happens in the weeks to come, but why not go all-out now?

We are already in the home stretch of Scorpion season 4, and there is a reason why we’re getting so many new episodes of this show so soon: CBS is doing everything within its power at the moment to clear way for Elementary and its premiere coming up in early May. There aren’t burning off Scorpion by any means; this is just a way to get more great content to you as soon as humanly possible. Isn’t that really a cause for celebration?
