Not even witness protection can take Granger’s daughter Jennifer Kim from returning to NCIS: Los Angeles — Malese Jow is going to be back for season 9 episode 15! This March 18 episode is going to be the first installment after the Vietnam arc, so in theory this could be the first complete episode where Hetty’s fate is known one way or another. For the time being, though, the folks over at CBS are staying coy on the subject. They didn’t release any information suggesting Hetty’s return, and nor did they include a photo featuring her. For now, we’ve just got a first-look photo above plus some NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 episode 15 details below:
“Liabilities” – Callen and Sam pull Granger’s daughter, former spy Jennifer Kim (Malese Jow), from witness protection to help the team locate an underground spy who has obtained an arsenal of bomb materials, on NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Sunday, March 18 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Getting a chance to see Jow back on the show feels like something special given that Miguel Ferrer is sadly no longer with us. This is a chance to honor that character’s legacy and we hope that at the conclusion of this case, the door is left open for Jennifer to appear for some other missions in the future. After all, why would you want to throw her back into witness protection once more if she is an asset? Isn’t there another way to keep her safe? We certainly hope so, though if the team can pull her out of this position once, it certainly stands to make sense that they
Jow last appeared on NCIS: Los Angeles back in 2016; “Liabilities” is her third appearance on the series. Some of her other notable TV credits include The Shannara Chronicles, The Flash, and The Vampire Diaries.
