Lucifer season 3: What’s Tom Ellis’ favorite episode?
In a post on Twitter, the actor behind Lucifer himself proclaims “The Angel of San Bernardino” to be his favorite installment of the season so far. The episode’s writer in Jason Ning also shared a sneak preview, one in which is completely bizarre but also utterly exciting in between the facial expressions and the outfits.
The Lucifer writers have absolutely stumbled upon something great here, and it’s that throwing Lucifer into some really bizarre / unexpected outfits often turns out to be entertainment gold. The more that they do this, and the likelier that it’s going to be that we will be entertained. It’s also just great in general taking this big, dynamic character and finding some different ways to throw him out of his element a little bit. We’re going to see some of that when the series returns to Fox next week, given that he and Chloe are going to be going undercover at a high school reunion and there is a reasonably good chance that a little bit of hilarity is going to ensue.

When Lucifer returns, one of the biggest reasons to rejoice is that you’re going to get a great run of episodes almost straight through the rest of the season. There’s a chance that there may be a few little breaks in the action here and here, but they shouldn’t be anything so substantial to upset the momentum quite like the long one we’ve had now. Fingers crossed that Lucifer remains every bit as fun as it’s been to date!
