Grey’s Anatomy season 14: Sarah Drew on April’s feelings for Jackson
Based on what we’re hearing at the moment from series star Sarah Drew, let’s just say that some of the feelings on her end are very much still lingering. That makes some sense. She already admitted to Jackson that she was still struggling with the sort of stasis that the two had put their relationship in, something that was complicated even more by what happened with the two last season in Montana. They know that they will always be in each others’ lives as parents, and that probably only spikes those feelings even more. This is not an easy thing for April to be able to walk away from — and it’s also something that most viewers out there still want to see.
In speaking a little bit more on the subject of her character’s current emotional state to TV Guide, here is what Sarah Drew had to say:
“I think she’d like to say that she’s moving on [from Jackson]. I think she knows that’s the most evolved thing to do but I don’t think she’s there yet.”
April probably knows this judging from the fact that Jackson isn’t exactly showing a lot of interest in being back together at the moment. Instead, Jackson has gravitated more towards Maggie as of late, though with Maggie now involved with someone else the entire future between these two is also complicated in its own right.

While it’s hard to know what the future holds for April and Jackson on Grey’s Anatomy itself, they were voted by CarterMatt readers as the most-popular ‘ship on the show. If there was one pairing that the producers really should dive back into for the purpose of pleasing some of their fans, it is very clearly this one.
