The Originals season 5 spoilers: Caroline, Alaric’s twins will have role
According to a new report coming in right now via Entertainment Weekly, you are going to see these characters turning up on the series in the second-to-last episode of the show. As for what Lizzie and Josie are going to be up to, and what role that they’ve got within the supernatural school that their parents are helping to run remains to be seen.
Obviously, these are going to be very different iterations of the twins than you’ve seen in the past given that there has been a substantial amount of time that has passed from the end of The Originals this past season to where we are now — that’s without even accounting for some of the time jump that happened going into the start of The Originals season 4. These will be in some ways almost completely different characters, even though they are tied still to The Vampire Diaries somewhat.
It was already confirmed some time ago that there are going to be a number of appearances for Candice King as Caroline over the final season of the show, culminating in a big one that is coming up during the series finale. We would love for that to be a sign that we’re going to have a chance to see something big happening between Caroline and Klaus, but it’s never an altogether great idea to jump to conclusions.
For now, let’s just shrug our shoulders and say “we’ll see” at the prospect of getting to see a little bit more when it comes to these characters and some assorted craziness that could come along with them. It’s mostly just a thrill at this point to be seeing Caroline and Alaric’s twins at all.
