Celebrity Big Brother live feed spoilers: Veto Ceremony; looking ahead (day 16, afternoon)

Ariadna Gutiérrez

The Veto Ceremony took place earlier today within the Celebrity Big Brother house, and we don’t think anyone is going to be altogether shocked by the end result of it.

Just like it was teased in advance, James Maslow of course used the Veto on himself, and following that Ariadna Gutierrez nominated Mark McGrath in his place. Mark volunteered, and Shannon Elizabeth remains the target for eviction tomorrow night.

Now that we’ve thrown all of that out there … how delicious would it be if somehow we bore witness to a situation in which Mark went home? We’d love it, but Shannon unfortunately does not appear to have the numbers for the time being. Signs point, regrettably, to her leaving Friday night.

With the vote seemingly secure it does feel as though some of the other players in the game are all doing their part to look ahead. For example, signs at the moment point towards James being the next target — understandably so, given that he can win competitions and he’s not the easiest person to live with in the house. If James wins, we’ve already heard Brandi Glanville discuss using Omarosa as the target to nominate alongside Mark.

From all of this information, you can easily gather that as of right now, Mark, Omarosa, and James are on the outside looking in. Following this Metta World Peace probably becomes a target because he’s pretty likable within the house. We also know that Brandi is out for Ross Mathews at some point given that it’s clear that he has alliances with just about everyone in the game.

Who’s in the best spot?

Probably Marissa Jaret Winokur in that She benefits from many of Ross’ alliances without having to get as much blood on her own hands. She’s not an obvious competition threat and she also isn’t someone who is going to act terrible and shoot herself in the foot.
