Grey’s Anatomy season 14: What stories are left to tell?
Unfortunately, the bad news for now is that the ABC series is officially deciding to shut things down. There is no new episode coming on the air until we get to the other side of the Olympics hiatus, which is not going to happen until we get around to Thursday, March 1. That’s a long time to wait, no? It absolutely is, and we hope that as a result of that there are some stories presented that will prove to make said wait very much worthwhile.
For now, though, the question that we want to answer is relatively simple: What stories are there still left to tell? Are there a few other things to look forward to? We’d be happy to offer up some suggestions on this subject.
1. Establishing what’s coming on the other side for April Kepner – At this point, it should be fairly clear to just about everyone that April is in the midst of a significant struggle. She is trying to figure out where her heart lies and what her future holds after losing a couple of patients. The unfortunate truth for her is that, for one reason or another, there are not enough other people around really recognizing what she is saying.
2. The contest – What do some of the doctors get out of this in the end? We want it to be a little bit more substantial than just something that a few of them celebrate briefly before going on their way and back to patients.
3. More Kim Raver – We know that she is coming back as Teddy, but we unfortunately don’t know (at least for now) what some of the mechanics of said return are going to be.
4. Get Bailey back in the hospital – We know that she had a heart attack, but this is Miranda Bailey we’re speaking about here! Do you really think that she is going to be separate from the rest of the doctors forever? It’s hard to see it.
5. A Jo – Alex engagement – Simply put, it’s time. Not only that, but Jo is now free finally to embrace whatever sort of future that she actually wants.
