Matt Ryan returning to Legends of Tomorrow season 3 — when’s it happening?
According to a report coming in via ComicBook.com, you are going to see Ryan reprising his role as John Constantine for the upcoming fifteenth episode of this season entitled “Necromancing the Stone.” It’s also possible that there could be another appearance for John on the other side of this; Nick Zano (who plays Nate Heywood) posted a photo on Instagram this week during season finale shooting, one that featured a famous trench-coat in the background. This may not be confirmation that Constantine is returning for that final episode but it certainly seems likely.
It does make a certain degree of sense that we’d get a chance to see some of Ryan in this role multiple times, given the subject matter of this season with the demon Mallus serving as a the Big Bad. His specialty is stopping demons, and he’s got a skill set that makes him extremely valuable to the rest of the team. We just wanna know what John’s up to in the middle of all of these different missions.

If you don’t mind now, let us indulge in a little bit of crazy speculation. We know that The CW is set to expand to six nights a week in the fall for the first time in over a decade. With that, you have to wonder if it’s possible that someone could consider a Constantine season again. While having six superhero shows on the air at the same time could be a little much, what about the idea of airing Black Lightning or Legends of Tomorrow in the fall and then Constantine in the spring? We’d certainly love it if someone was to think about it since there are SO many stories to tell with this character.
