Timeless season 2 teaser takes you on a trip

Timeless season 2

The first Timeless season 2 teaser is here, and we like to think that it does a really good job building up some hype for what could be coming up next.

There’s isn’t too much in the way of footage within this teaser (video below via star Malcolm Barrett), but we do think it does an incredible job at is setting the tone and the style for the series — whether you are someone who knows the show and loves it or someone who is just checking it out for the first time. We like that there’s a certain air of mystery about it and you’re not just watching a run-of-the-mill network teaser. We’ve always loved some of the graphic design for the show so this is no exception.

Timeless season 2 premieres on NBC come Sunday, March 11, and we hope that everyone out there remembers to check it out — especially live. We’re very much excited to see that the series had a date, though at the same time we’ll admit to being a little bit worried about it airing at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time — we know that there are a lot of families out there who would like to check the show out. (If nothing else, we hope that the show manages to score some great DVR ratings!)

We know that in the earlier parts of season 2 you will see Lucy Preston (Abigail Spencer), Wyatt (Matt Lanter), and Rufus (Barrett) travel back in time to World War I. We’re especially interested to see how the cliffhanger is addressed, given that it was revealed that Lucy’s mother (Susanna Thompson) was secretly a member of Rittenhouse, the mysterious and powerful organization who has been a key component for most of the series.
