Madam Secretary season 4 episode 13 preview: A psychic gets involved — but how?

Is Madam Secretary season 4 episode 13 about to take a page from The Mentalist or Psych? It may be a little bit drastic to go this far, but there are some signs at the moment that the upcoming March 11 episode “Reading the Signs” is going to incorporate a psychic in a way that you don’t see coming. While it may seem obvious on paper to not take political advice from any sort of medium, we’re speaking here just from our own perspective! Who is to say what works and doesn’t work for some other people?

Below, the Madam Secretary season 4 episode 13 synopsis offers up some additional news surrounding just what is coming up in this episode:

“Reading the Signs” – Elizabeth seeks creative solutions when the president of Sri Lanka’s psychic convinces him to not move forward with a trade agreement with the U.S. Also, Alison grapples with guilt for missing the warning signs after her college roommate attempts suicide, and Henry makes an abrupt career decision, on MADAM SECRETARY, Sunday, March 11 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

When it comes to the story’s tone and feel, this episode seems as though it is going to be all over the map. It seems like there could be some lighthearted moments in the Sri Lanka storyline, but you also have to remember that every part of this storyline needs to be viewed through the proper lens. For example, just because something is out of the ordinary to us as a viewer does not necessarily mean it is to other characters who are living the storyline and seeing it play out.

As for elsewhere within this episode…

There are a few different components to the story that are certainly interesting, with one of the bigger ones being seeing what sort of career decision Henry makes that could be life-altering both in terms of himself and for Elizabeth. You’d certainly think that the McCords would want a little more stability after the recent crisis with President Dalton, but sometimes life doesn’t work like that. Sometimes, twists and turns hit you and you really don’t see them coming.
