Celebrity Big Brother live feed spoilers: Latest nominations, fallout (day 14)

Ariadna’s nominations are in now in Celebrity Big Brother, and we have a feeling that there could be fireworks as the day progresses into night.

It’s not so much that the nominations themselves are altogether much of a surprise given that the people who are on the block are the same people everyone expected to be on the block — Shannon Elizabeth and James Maslow. The two were basically alerted as to their position from everything between body language and Ross Mathews outright telling James earlier today it was happening.

Yet, that doesn’t mean that anyone is altogether happy about it. In particular, James was upset about this given that it put him in a position where he had to hope Shannon lost the Veto; if she went off the block, he would be going home. In the aftermath of the nomination ceremony, Shannon’s also tried to plead her case to Brandi Glanville by claiming that she’s been upfront regardless of whatever perceptions may be out there about her ability to make deals.

Unfortunately for Shannon, she dug her hole back the first week when she dominated the first two competitions and helped to orchestrate a big alliance; from that moment, it was clear that she was a great player and should be targeted. We do have people in this game like Metta World Peace who are effectively useless, but there are others like Ross, Ariadna, and Brandi who are reasonably interest in making it to the end and winning the money. (Novel thought, no?) Shannon and James are getting in the way of that. We’d be shocked at this point if one of them didn’t leave the game on Friday; we’re sure that there will be many attempts to throw Omarosa under the bus but there’s no reason to get rid of her. She’s not a threat to anyone’s ability to win the game down the load; she may cause drama, but there is probably a sentiment that everyone can just tolerate living with her for the next couple of weeks. Then, the season’s over. We don’t think having a great house experience is as important this season given that things are so short.
