New tonight: Homeland season 7, Star Trek: Discovery, Here and Now

Homeland season 7

What’s coming up tonight across all of TV? We definitely understand there being a thirst to know, given that there are so many shows that are off the air right now!

Even though the Olympics are off the air, we do think that there are still a number of interesting alternatives if you are looking for something fun to watch. The Sunday schedule will get even more packed next week when Last Week Tonight with John Oliver returns to the air.

Celebrity Big Brother – The reality competition series continues tonight on CBS with a new episode at 8:00 p.m. Eastern, one that is apparently going to give us a chance to see Omarosa’s injury and subsequent recover from whatever happens.

Counterpart – You can watch it early on the app if you choose, but the J.K. Simmons series itself will continue at 8:00.

Star Trek: Discovery – The season 1 finale will be available on CBS All Access tonight, so be prepared to start streaming and to enjoy an episode that (hopefully) is going to offer up some closure to some of the plots for this season.

Here and Now – The new family drama from executive producer Alan Ball (Six Feet Under) starts off at 9:00, and surprisingly, reviews to date have been somewhat mixed over it. For an HBO series, we also don’t think that it’s really generated all that much publicity for itself.

Homeland – The seventh season of the Claire Danes led drama series starts off at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time; be prepared for some dark, topical programming once more as Carrie tries to establish what the new world order is going to be.

The Chi – The latest episode will be available on Showtime starting at 10:00.

Shark Tank – While there are many series on network TV off for the Games, ABC is going to continue broadcasting new episodes of the reality series. You can preview the latest one just by heading over to the link here!
