Scandal season 7 episode 12 spoilers: Olivia Pope, Annalise Keating’s big meeting

Scandal season 7 episode 12

Scandal season 7 episode 12 is more than just your standard episode of the ABC series — it is also the beginning of the long-awaited crossover between this show and How to Get Away with MurderThe action is going to kick off starting with Scandal at 9:00 p.m. Eastern, and then after that How to Get Away with Murder is going to officially pick up starting at 10:00. These two episodes obviously have their own individual storylines that they need to address, given that this is the final season of Scandal and there are only a few episodes left on How to Get Away with Murder before the end of the series.

Even with this in mind, though, we do think that these two shows are ultimately getting involved with one another at the perfect time — Olivia Pope is in an interesting place in her life right now after stepping down as Chief of Staff. Meanwhile, Annalise has some trouble of her own in the form of what is happening with the class-action lawsuit.

What CarterMatt has for you below are some more official details via ABC, which we like to think give you a good sense as to what you can expect to see ahead.

Scandal season 7 episode 12, “Allow Me to Introduce Myself” – “In the midst of moving on from the White House, Olivia gets an unexpected visitor in criminal defense attorney Annalise Keating, who seeks her help in fast-tracking a judicial reform class action to the United States Supreme Court. However, after Olivia’s recent fall from political grace, it’s going to be more challenging than ever to get the support they need, on a special, TGIT Crossover Event episode.”

How to Get Away with Murder season 4 episode 13, “Lahey v. Commonwealth of Virginia” – “As Annalise’s class-action case hangs in the balance, a meeting with the esteemed Washington D.C. fixer, Olivia Pope, proves to be crucial in getting the opportunity to argue her case in the nation’s highest court. Meanwhile, Bonnie discovers concerning information pertaining to Simon that threatens to expose what really happened during night he was shot, on a special, TGIT Crossover Event episode.”

We know that both Kerry Washington and Viola Davis are guest-starring on one another’s shows, but what about beyond that? here is what we know on that subject: You’re going to be seeing Aja Naomi King (Michaela) stop by Scandal while Cornelius Smith Jr. (Marcus) will be appearing on How to Get Away with Murder.
