Celebrity Big Brother: Brandi Glanville’s party night

Metta World Peace

We’ve now made it through the first night of Celebrity Big Brother and, at least based on what we’ve seen so far, things are a little bit bonkers. The women’s alliance overall may not be anywhere near as tight as it once was and, beyond that, it feels like there are many players in the game who are starting to bring the entertainment.

At the top of the list tonight was Brandi Glanville, who chose to celebrate the arrival of champagne into the house by getting really drunk, acting crazy, and at one point almost simulating something unmentionable involving the squash. (It probably sounds worse than it is, but still.) Brandi was wild the first night on the live feels, really to the point that some of the other women started to wonder about her.

The obvious pairs in the game right now are Marissa Jaret Winokur and Shannon Elizabeth, who know each other from Dancing with the Stars many years ago, and then also Brandi and Keshia Knight Pulliam. These two know each other thanks to the time that they spent together years ago on The Celebrity Apprentice. (Honestly, it’s amazing just how many people have Donald Trump connections on this show this season.)

Strategically, James Maslow is campaigning reasonably hard to stick around but he’s got zero chance. He also comes across as pretty out of touch with the game and doesn’t quite understand some of the various intricacies that go along with being a part of Big Brother. What we probably feels the most sorry for him for is the mere fact that he thinks that everyone is going to be friends on the outside of the game.

Metta World Peace and Orwell

Consider this your pseudo-alliance of the year. Also, who would’ve thought that the Big Brother: After Dark owl would move on so quickly after Josh? Metta joked that Orwell is the one thing keeping him safe this season. Our response? Well, it did work for Josh so it could very well work here. You never know.
