The Flash season 4 episode 14 return date for Grant Gustin, cast
New episodes of the CW series will be back, and not after too long of a break. You can expect to see the series back in action starting on Tuesday, February 27 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. There are two weeks of repeats; on the other side of that, meanwhile, will be a run of new episodes … ones that we hope will feature Barry as The Flash again. As much as we’ve enjoyed some of the silly stuff that we’ve had a chance to see with Ralph and Cisco over time, it feels like high time to eventually bring The Flash back to the forefront.
It feels pretty clear at this point what we are building towards a showdown eventually between The Flash and The Thinker, and it really just comes down to when the writers want to bring this story to a culmination. We have a feeling that it’s not going to be for a while. There are still a good nine or ten episodes still to go this season, and that will offer up some opportunities to explore some additional avenues for both The Thinker and some of the other prominent characters.

As for whether or not we’re going to get the rest of season 4 in succession with no breaks, the short answer here is “probably not.” There is probably going to be a hiatus of at least a couple of weeks some point in March or April; that way, there can be a solid run of installments in May before the series caps things off near the end of the month. We’re hoping that a The Flash season 5 renewal will come long before that; after all, we want to know more of what the series is building up to.
