The Fosters season 5 hiatus coming, but for how long?
Here’s what we know about the schedule that is coming up for the show. One bit of good news is that there is a new episode coming up on Freeform Tuesday night. To go along with that, we also know that there is another new episode coming on Tuesday, February 13. After that, though, there is going to be a small break in the action on February 20.
What’s the reasoning for that? Well, one of the major reasons may just have to do with a desire to not want to air against the Olympics on more than just one primary occasion. We know already that there are a number of different shows out there that are going on hiatus because of the Olympics, so it would have actually been more of a surprise in the event that we didn’t see the show take some sort of break.
No matter when the episodes air, one thing does remain the same — we’re going to have an emotional run the remainder of the series for many of these characters. While we know that this is probably far from the last time in which we are going to see some of these characters (there is also the spin-off coming in the future), it won’t quite be the same. Depending on how the new show is structured, it is very well possible that we could be seeing the last shots of the house and some other familiar locations on this show. That is certainly something that we are worried about at the moment.
