The Good Place season 3 premiere date hopes for Kristen Bell, cast
Following tonight’s finale, do you want to get some more of the first The Good Place season 3 premiere date speculation? You are in the right place!
The biggest thing to share right away is the simple fact that there is, in fact, a third season of the series coming up on NBC. The network renewed the Kristen Bell – Ted Danson series this past fall, citing the show’s strong, consistent performance as a reason. While it may appear that the show is down by a decent margin year-to-year in terms of adults 18-49, the first season’s ratings were skewed in part by some early episodes that got additional promotion due to the Summer Olympics. The Good Place remains fairly consistent and, as a result of that, we don’t think that the show is in any danger for quite some time.
As for when The Good Place season 3 will premiere, it remains a safe bet to say that it will be back come this fall. This has worked well for the first two seasons, so why change it? NBC has had a rather-hard time as of late finding other marquee comedies beyond this show, Superstore, and Will & Grace — there really isn’t any need to shake things up too much. As experimental as The Good Place may be story-wise, this is not the sort of series that you want to mess around with too much insofar as scheduling goes. It’s so serialized that if you miss a couple of episodes, there is a reasonably good chance you’ll be confused as to what’s going on. Viewers need to know when it’s on from the get-go and it’s not a great thing to have them scrambling around and wondering when the series is going to be coming back … or learning that it returned a couple of weeks beforehand and they weren’t aware of it.
You’ve got a little ways to go before NBC announces what The Good Place season 3 premiere date will be. They tend to announce nightly schedules during upfronts in May, and specific premiere dates tend to be announced more over the summer.
