911 episode 6 preview: A dangerous Valentine’s Day

911 season 2

Are you ready for 911 episode 6 to come on the air in one week’s time? This is the Valentine’s Day episode, and with that isn’t it nice that there will be a little bit of romance mixed in with some of the drama?

Of course, here’s the bad news that you have to remember here: 911 is not the sort of show that will take it easy on some of their characters just because this day is meant to be a celebration of great love. Instead, they’re going to throw even more characters through hell. A proposal will be at the center of the episode and then on the other side of that, you will see Abby and Buck embarking on their first real date after their meeting tonight.

For a little more insight, take a look at the official 911 episode 6 synopsis below courtesy of the fine folks over at Fox:

On Valentine’s Day, a surprise marriage proposal goes awry with dangerous consequences. Athena attempts to help a desperate woman and unintentionally joins the Lonely Hearts Club. Bobby and Chimney pull holiday duty and learn about the “Casanova Fracture” and Abby and Buck go on their first official date in the all-new “Heartbreaker” episode of 9-1-1 airing Wednesday, Feb. 7 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (NIN-106) (TV-14 D, L, S, V)

We don’t think that it will take all that much in order to figure out what makes this episode entertaining — a big part of it is going to be just because of the chance to see some of these characters within the Valentine’s Day setting. For Buck and Abby, is it a bad move to go on a first date on Valentine’s Day? If they are perfect for each other, maybe — yet, at the same time there’s an extreme amount of pressure that can come from throwing these characters into this sort of high-stress, high-pressure situation where everything has to be perfect. We all have this idealized version of what we want Valentine’s Day, or any other romantic milestone in our lives, to be like. The same has to go for some of these characters regardless of whether or not they would like to admit it.
