The Assassination of Gianni Versace episode 4: David Madson on the run

Assassination of Gianni Versace episode 4

The Assassination of Gianni Versace has, at least so far, taken what is very much a slow-burn strategy when it comes to this story. You saw the ending, but since that time we’ve spent a lot of time working back on some of the events that have led to Andrew Cunanan getting to that place. That is going to continue moving into next week’s episode 4, which carries with it the title of “House by the Lake.”

Below, you can get a small handful of details regarding what is coming up, all courtesy of the network:

Minneapolis architect David Madson is forced to go on the run with Andrew Cunanan. Written by Tom Rob Smith; Directed by: Dan Minahan.

So who is David Madson within the larger context of history? Outside of his history with Cunanan and what ultimately happened to him, there isn’t all that much of note — largely because he died at a reasonably early age. He didn’t have a chance to live up to his full potential, but he was an up-and-comer in his field who had worked hard and was starting to break through to another echelon on the social and financial ladder. Understanding him should offer up some more news when it comes to understanding Cunanan. given that this episode is slated to run almost a full hour not including commercials, you will be given plenty of time in order to understand this character better.

One other thing that you have to remember here schedule-wise is that while the vast majority of TV networks are taking off February 14 (it’s more so because of the Olympics than Valentine’s Day), FX will continue to air a new episode of this show. They are planning at the moment to not air one the following week on February 21, but compared to some of the other hiatuses that are out there at the moment this really is not this bad.
