State of the Union 2018 live stream: Where to watch

Reza AslanTonight, most of the major networks are going to be off the air (at least in terms of their regularly-schedule primetime programming) in order to offer up the State of the Union 2018. If for whatever reason you aren’t watching it on TV but plan to do so live, we have a way for you to do that below!

This video is poised to start almost immediately at the time in which you are reading this article, and you will be able to see the entirety of the speech.

Following that, we recommend checking out some other news networks for other coverage. CNN will have some of the most in-depth analysis of the night, including the Democratic response on the other side of the address. Meanwhile, NBC, Fox, ABC, and CBS will be planning some of their own programming to go along with it.

Don’t want to watch the address? Our suggestion is simple: Black Lightning over on The CW is pretty great and could be worth your time. There’s not exactly a whole lot of other options that are out there.

Following the normal coverage…

Jimmy Kimmel tonight has an interview with a certain someone named Stormy who has quite a supposed history with Donald Trump. We know that for some, there’s a lot of interest in that interview. It airs in the show’s typical timeslot over on ABC. Beyond that, we know that there will be plenty of coverage both tonight across late-night comedy (at least the ones that didn’t tape early) and also the next day in the morning-talk circuit.

We know that this event tends to draw big ratings, but this particular State of the Union is so different and unusual than some of the others that have taken place over the years. It’s a little challenging to know precisely how this one will play to the average viewer. (Our take? The ratings will probably be huge, both in between Trump supporters and also people watching to tweet about it.)
