Suits season 7 episode 11 return date official; Patrick J. Adams leaving
There is of course some rather-bad news to report (hence the title), but let’s kick things off with the part of this story that could at least put a smile on some faces that are out there. Suits season 7 episode 11 will air on Wednesday, March 28 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. There are six more episodes to come this season and then, after that, both Meghan Markle and Patrick J. Adams will be gone from the series. Adams (who finally confirmed his exit today after months of reports) seems ready to explore some new frontiers, while in the case of Markle she’s going to be pretty busy serving as a member of the British Royal Family.
In a statement today confirming his exit from the series, Adams made it clear just how grateful he is to the cast, the crew, and to everyone who watched him on the show over the years:
“It’s hard for me to imagine what words, in what order would sufficiently express my love and gratitude to all of the people who have made the last seven years possible … From my unbelievably talented cast mates to our relentlessly committed crew, to the brilliant minds at USA, UCP and Hypnotic, to the legions of fans all over the world, every one of them dedicating so much of their time, energy and talent to make Suits what it is today — one of the most beloved and successful shows on television. So I will choose the simplest words I have. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
“It has been an honor working with and for each and everyone one of you. Mike Ross has taught me a lot about commitment, hard work and the power of believing in yourself and I feel blessed that now we both get to walk out into the lives that we never dreamed we would actually be lucky enough to live. I’m excited to now step across the screen and become solely a fan of a show that I know has much more in store in the years to come. I wish everyone involved the best and am excited to see what kind of trouble they’ll get themselves in and out of from here on out.”

Can Suits survive without Mike and Rachel? That’s a challenge since they are both so fundamental to the story’s overall journey — the entire starting-off point for the series was Mike finding a way to fabric his way into being a lawyer. It’s going to be very hard to shift the tone around him, but the good news is that we’ve still got some other beloved characters including Harvey, Donna, and Louis Litt.
