Scorpion season 4 episode 16 preview: Valentine’s Day; Sylvester & Florence

Love is often in the air for Team Scorpion, but on Scorpion season 4 episode 16 that said love may be in the air more than ever before. “Nerd, Wind and Fire” marks an opportunity to see a little bit more in the way of Scorpion ‘shipping, especially when it comes to characters in Sylvester and Florence who haven’t really had all that much of a romantic connection to date.

Below, the Scorpion season 4 episode 16 synopsis has a little more information as to what’s coming — both in terms of this storyline and others:

“Nerd, Wind and Fire” – On Valentine’s Day, Team Scorpion must set aside their romantic plans to help a doctor and pilot trapped inside a helicopter that crashed atop a skyscraper. Also, Toby and Happy wait for news on their fertility results, and Sylvester realizes that he may have feelings for Florence, on SCORPION, Monday, Feb. 5 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

There’s obviously a chance that we’re going to hear some great news in this episode for Happy and Toby as they continue their hope to become parents down the line. Whether it be with these two characters or Sylvester and Florence, we figure that there are going to be some reasons to smile over the course of the hour.

So why are we getting a Valentine’s Day episode of Scorpion so far ahead of when the actual holiday is? There is a pretty logical reason for that — there is no episode scheduled on February 12. With the CBS series going off the air for the Winter Olympics not too long after this episode comes on the air, they needed to get this episode out there before February 14 rolls around. Otherwise, it really would not have been all that relevant at all.

We’re not trying to shade the case-of-the-week storyline by not mentioning it all that much here, but the reality still remains that the majority of the people out there who check out Scorpion are doing it for the characters. The procedural element often tends to be pretty similar from one week to the next.
