NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 and the schedule ahead
So looking beyond the March 11 return for the series, what else is coming up? We thought that it may be rather useful to provide a relatively-comprehensive schedule of some of what is coming up!
Upcoming repeats – Beyond the reruns and preemptions airing between tonight and when the show returns on March 11, there is also going to be one on April 15. That is when CBS will be airing the Academy of Country Music Awards, which is something that they do every season.
When is the earliest that season 9 could end? – Let’s assume that there are new episodes airing the rest of the season with the exception of April 15. Where things get interest is that if there are still 24 episodes this season, it would take until late May for CBS to air all of them. With that, don’t be surprised if the finale airs as a two-hour event on May 20. We’ll probably get a better sense as to what’s coming at the end of the season when we get a little bit closer to that date. For now, there is really not too much of an incentive for the networks to spill the beans on their finale dates — there’s probably still a certain degree of flux where things can change over time.

As for a season 10 renewal, we wouldn’t be shocked if you know about the series’ long-term future either around the time it returns or at some point not too far down the road from then. CBS tends to issue a bulk renewal for many of their shows come March.
