Scandal season 7 episode 9 sneak peek: Quinn’s prison

Scandal season 7 episode 9

Scandal season 7 episode 9, entitled “Good People,” certainly seems as though it’s going to be an iconic episode of the series. It’s absolutely one of the most dramatic.

The bulk of this installment will be a showcase for Katie Lowes as Quinn Perkins, who finds herself in the opening minutes of the episode imprisoned. The sneak peek below (via Entertainment Tonight) offers up more of a sense as to what’s going on with her. She wakes up chained in Rowan’s basement, unsure as to how she got there and still wearing her wedding dress. She is immediately confused and shouts for help; when Rowan descends the staircase in that evil/horribly-menacing way in which Rowan often does things, some of that confusion quickly turns to rage. She’s understandably infuriated by her present predicament and how it could be possible that she finds herself in this sort of situation.

Rowan, of course, doesn’t offer much in the way of consolation or support — that’s really not his thing. He just continues to be evil and not show his cards.

What we know from the ending of this past episode is this — Quinn’s baby is seemingly alive, unless of course Rowan has some random baby, which we probably can’t rule out entirely because this guy is completely nuts. The writers also want for us to think that Quinn is dead, given that there was the funeral that took place. Yet, we still haven’t seen what CarterMatt would say is 100% proof that the character is gone. This is especially true for this show, which would probably do everything short of casting a resurrection spell on Quinn in order to fool you.

This episode should provide answers — if nothing else, though, you’ll probably have one of the best performances from Lowes that you’ve had a chance to see in a rather-long time.
