Knightfall episode 9 preview: Landry’s search for help

Knightfall episode 9 is an especially significant episode for the series for a wide array of different reasons, with one of the biggest ones being simply this: It’s the penultimate one of the season! At the conclusion of this episode there is only one more episode to come before the big finale; with that, there are many big storylines that the series is probably going to need to look at. Take, for example, the status of the Holy Grail within this world.

Given that we are near what we’d very much consider to be desperate times, this in turn may call for some desperate measures. We could end up seeing some of these measures play out in the Landry story as he seeks a little bit more help.

Landry seeks the help of Jacques de Molay, the Temple Grand Master; Queen Joan plots her escape…

The promo below make it clear that no matter what happens to Landry, he is now prepared to organize and figure out a way for the Grail to be safe. He knows the charges that are against him, and he knows very well that they could lead to his undoing.

As for Queen Joan’s storyline, the one thing that we have to say is that it’s going to be hard for her to top what she just did tonight. We like to think of this as a reminder that she is basically this show’s version of Lagertha over on Vikings — someone who knows what she wants and will stop at almost nothing in order to ensure that she gets it. Even though she may have made a big move killing her cousin, she recognizes that she’s not out of the woods just yet.

One last thing we’ll say about Knightfall episode 9…

We just hope that there are some viewers out there who watch given that the episode is coming on without Vikings before it. The series is still on the air, and with that is still very much worthy of your attention.
