The Originals season 5 spoilers: Nadine Lewington set to play key role

Nadine Lewington

Nadine Lewington is one of the latest new additions to The Originals season 5, and if early indications are to believed she could prove to be one of the more interesting new additions to the season.

Based on some of what is out there right now, here is what we know. According to a new report coming in right now via TVLine, Lewington is set to appear as the character Greta Sienna, a woman described as a “calculating and charismatic vampire” who was around in the 1920’s and 30’s. She’s figured out the way of the world over the years and also still has some sort of close ties to the rest of her family. Who is that family? That’s another interesting question given that, in theory, much of her family would be dead and buried so many years after the fact. Does she have her own family of vampires?

You’ll see this Greta Sienna character at some point pretty early on in the fifth and final season; on the other side of that, we’re hoping that there are even more interesting appearances from her … provided that she is roped into the story in a pretty interesting way.

There are so many interest priorities on The Originals season 5, whether it be finding a way to ensure the reunion between Klaus and the rest of his family as well as bringing Caroline from The Vampire Diaries and seeing what this new version of Hope is going to be like.

One other fun fact at the moment: Lewington is actually married to former The Vampire Diaries stars Michael Malarkey, who played Enzo on that series for so many years.

New episodes of The Originals officially begin later this spring on The CW.
