NCIS season 15 spoilers: When will Gabriel Hicks return?

When will Gabriel Hicks return to NCIS season 15? We know that this is a question that’s been out there for a little while, mostly because it was clear that this character’s journey was far from over the last time we saw him. After all, he is one of the more compelling villains that we’ve had a chance to see on the series, and is one of the few people who we really think is capable of challenging Gibbs and the entire NCIS team. He’s outsmarted them once before, and he certainly has the ability to outsmart them once again.

Here’s some great news for those wondering. Per TVLine, the upcoming February 6 episode entitled “Keep Your Friends Close” (read more information on that over here) is going to give you a chance to see Gibbs working alongside Fornell to figure out the next move in the case. The story is going to continue in “Keep Your Enemies Closer,” an episode that will air on the other side of the Olympics hiatus on February 6. Basically, that means there are two guaranteed chances coming up to see more of Hicks and that’s worth celebrating.

Just so we’re clear, we are not one of those crazy people who roots for the villains — we do want the NCIS team to win the day and take Hicks down once and for all! With that being said, though, we also at the same time want to see the team tested. We want villains on this show who are dangerous, memorable, and someone genuinely worth looking out for. We do think that this guy fits the bill. We’d like to see him hang around until the end of the season; we don’t necessarily think that villains need to last more than one season, but it would absolutely be nice to see the character stick around longer than just a few episodes. That gives the writers a chance to really create the stakes and build up the story in a way that is absolutely exciting.
