Knightfall episode 8 preview: The Paris temple under seige

Knightfall episode 8

When Knightfall episode 8 airs on History in one week’s time, you have to think that this episode is going to be one of the biggest ones of the entire series to date. After all, it’s following up the Vikings midseason finale, and you can’t possibly think that History is going to give you a Knightfall episode that falls flat after whatever sort of epicness is delivered there. Not only does this show have to fire off on all cylinders, it needs to also give viewers enough of a reason to watch the series play out through the remaining episodes. One of the biggest challenges for Knightfall will be airing without Vikings for a stretch of time. There could be some Vikings viewers out there who just assume that this series is over.

In the event you want some other news regarding what’s ahead, the Knightfall episode 8 synopsis offers up some more updates in terms of what’s coming up:

The Paris temple of the Knights Templar is under siege; De Nogaret casts doubt in King Philip’s mind; Queen Joan must decide what is best for Navarre.

It doesn’t take a whole lot of work here to figure out what the main event in Knightfall is going to be: Seeing the Paris temple under attack. As a result of that, there are going to be some key decisions made that determine whether or not there are any Templars who will survive. This is one of the most intense episodes of the season or many reasons, whether it be testing the mettle of some of these characters or establishing some sort of power structure when it comes to nobility.

What we have to hope from here is mostly that Knightfall gets its own version of the Vikings midseason finale — something that matches it in both scale and intensity. We’ll have to see precisely what happens here moving forward.
