Shadowhunters season 3 spoilers: Chai Hansen playing Jordan Kyle
According to Entertainment Weekly, Hansen (best known for playing Ilian on The CW’s The 100) is going to be appearing throughout the upcoming season has the aforementioned book character Jordan, someone who forms a bond with Simon Lewis. The two have a friendship that isn’t exactly like what you would expect from most friendship dynamics out there. In speaking about that to the aforementioned site, executive producers Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer had the following to say:
“Jordan comes into Simon’s life in a fun, unexpected way … The two instantly hit it off, but we soon find out there’s a lot more to Jordan than meets the eye, and repercussions that affect more than just Simon.”
To go along with this news, you can also get your first video footage featuring Hansen below — it’s not from the show itself, but it is a pretty funny video featuring him and Alberto Rosende that is worth watching. This basically shows more that it took the two almost no time at all in order to bond on the series, and we like to think that this is important for the sake of the characters’ relationship. While the two may not necessarily be friends forever, there is a time in which they’ll be close. If you love Shadowhunters it’s pretty important that this box be checked off.

Clearly, there is clearly going to be a lot to look forward to on Shadowhunters season 3 as a whole. In addition to getting Chai Hansen, it’s already been announced that Anna Hopkins (Arrow) is going to be coming on board as Lilith, one of the characters you should be especially fearful of in the early going.
