The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 14: Walton Goggins appearing
You may have heard already that Goggins is playing the (angry) estranged husband of the woman he is dating. The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 14 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below offers up a little more insight as to what you can expect to see:
“The Separation Triangulation” – Koothrappali finds himself in the middle of domestic drama when he learns the woman he’s dating, Nell (Beth Behrs), has a very upset husband, Oliver (Walter Goggins). Also, when Sheldon rents his old room back for a quiet place to work, he drives Leonard crazy by being a model tenant.
Obviously, getting Goggins on board for this episode is all sorts of tremendous. He’s a really funny guy and we’ve got a feeling that this is going to be an equally-funny role … if not an intense one. The humor here is probably going to stem from seeing Raj square off against someone who is the complete opposite of himself. This is probably why Nell took an interest in Raj to begin with; she probably wanted to be with someone very different than who she’s been with for a significant chunk of her life.

As for the other storyline, this is mostly just funny because it’s a different sort of madness than what Leonard is used to. If Sheldon suddenly acts like a completely normal human being, what do you do? Well, our guess is that you think that Sheldon is up to something! We imagine that over the course of this hour we’re going to see some rather funny moments play out with Leonard and Sheldon as a result of that … and Leonard may have a meltdown by the end of it all. There’s nothing quite as entertaining as a Leonard meltdown!
