Top Chef: Colorado episode 6 preview: Could Lee Anne leave?

Lee Anne Wong

When Top Chef: Colorado episode 6 airs on Bravo Thursday night, Lee Anne Wong could be in trouble — and it doesn’t have anything to do with her exceptional cooking.

In the sneak peek below, you can see some of what Lee Anne is going through. She’s shown herself already to be tough as nails — it takes a lot to win your way into the competition after doing Last Chance Kitchen, but to then do that while also pregnant is something else entirely. She’s pushed herself to the limit, especially on this past episode having to camp out and cook in freezing temperatures high up in the mountains. This was one of the most physically-grueling challenges we’ve seen on Top Chef in recent memory; Lee Anne never complained during the process of it, and she was praised for her dish at the end of it.

However, on the other side of it she is struggling and in between this sneak peek and the promo featuring an ambulance, we’re starting to get a little bit worried about her future in the competition. Hopefully, she finds a way to make it through and keep achieving what she wants to achieve — she’s certainly earned our respect through two different seasons of the show, and it completely sucks for someone have to leave through no fault of their cooking.

For a little more insight into what’s facing the remaining chefs tonight, the Top Chef: Colorado episode 6 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you has some info:

“For the Quickfire, Padma and Richard Blais inspire the chefs using Tasty online videos and challenge them to transform the most laborious dishes from their own menus into accessible thirty minute dishes for home cooks. Then, celebrated German chef, Keegan Gerhard, exposes the chefs to authentic Germanic food and tasks them with creating a delicious and unique Top Chef Beer Garden by putting their own spin on the cuisine and pairing a German-inspired dish with a radler. Who will be saying auf wiedersehen?”

As someone who really enjoys German food, let’s just say that this episode is probably going to make us very hungry. It could even rival the good truck challenge from a little bit earlier in the season.
