The Blacklist 100th episode preview: Nathan Lane is ‘Abraham Stern’

Are you ready for The Blacklist 100th episode to be here? We hope so, since it’s right around the corner! Next week marks the arrival of “Abraham Stern,” a story that is really like no other that has existed on the NBC show. Superstar Nathan Lane is going to be guest-starring as the character, someone who is going to bring a very different vibe to the series. While Stern may have a few things in common with a couple of other characters, let’s also be honest: This is a man with his own agenda that isn’t about some sort of criminal enterprise.

If there’s one thing and one thing only that Stern wants, it’s money. As for how that is going to happen, we’ll just have to wait and see. The Blacklist 100th episode synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below gives you a little more insight into what is going to be coming up:

When Red (James Spader) goes on the hunt for a legendary treasure, he draws the attention of Abraham Stern (guest star Nathan Lane), a cunning manipulator who has devoted his life – and the lives of many innocents – to recovering the fortune that is his birthright. Meanwhile, Liz’s (Megan Boone) quest sends her down a dark path, leading her to study the methods of one of the Blacklist’s most dangerous criminals.

Is the story for Liz Keen in this episode going to harken back to a different part within the show’s history? Early signs seem to suggest so, as we’re going to be getting some Easter eggs throughout this episode to other times of the show’s run. While there is a story in “Abraham Stern” that is very pressing and important for the present-day narrative of the show, all signs also indicate that The Blacklist is ready to have a bit of a celebration on its past.
