Jane the Virgin season 4 spoilers: Rosario Dawson casting confirmed
So when are you going to get to see Rosario Dawson on Jane the Virgin? Think over the course of the next few months, and in more than one episode.
Dawson’s casting was first confirmed while at the TCA Winter Press Tour, but there were not, sadly, too many details announced about her role. This is still an enormous get for Jane the Virgin given its relatively small ratings on a network that doesn’t often get huge guest stars in The CW. Yet, this gig comes after Jane the Virgin has already featured the likes of Britney Spears and Tyler Posey, fresh off of his role on Teen Wolf. As you can see, there is clearly quite a bit for fans to be excited about with this show!
Jane the Virgin season 4 is set to return to The CW later this month with new episodes, and maybe at around that time there will be some more news about Dawson’s role.

This role for Dawson comes after she has already made a rather notable series of appearances across the Marvel universe on Netflix. She played the part of Claire Temple on Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and then eventually The Defenders, though there is a pretty good chance that you also know her from some of her other work, including in 25th Hour and Sin City.
Hopefully, this is the sort of casting that gets even more eyeballs on Jane the Virgin and helps to cement it getting renewed for another season. We’d love to see Jane the Virgin eventually get a season 5.
