Criminal Minds season 13 episode 11 preview: Secrets in a small Virginia town

Criminal Minds season 13 episode 11

While we’ve certainly seen many mysteries across crime procedurals overs the years, the one at the heart of Criminal Minds season 13 episode 11 is going to be an especially strange one. Much of that starts with the title, “Full-Tilt Boogie,” which sounds more like a sock-hop than an episode of scripted TV.

Let’s just say that we’re very much interested in learning just what sort of connection there is between the title for this episode (which we’ve already tried to break down) and the story that you’re going to have a chance to see play out here. What we know is that this seems like one of those episodes where you have a super-mysterious town anchored by a ton of crazy stuff. The BAU is going to have to figure out just how to resolve this case, and ensure that the person or persons responsible are brought to justice.

For a little bit more insight, CarterMatt has for you below the official Criminal Minds season 13 episode 11 synopsis:

“The BAU team’s investigation into the home invasion and attempted homicide of a police chief’s wife uncovers a world of secrets in a small town in Virginia.”

This episode is going to be an opportunity to see the BAU team up together to look into a whole community — that to us is more intriguing than just a case where there is one UnSub that the team is trying to take down. We’ve said this before and it bears repeating, but we almost wish that this was a story arc that lasted a few episodes just so we could really dive into some of these stories and these characters even more. As it is, though, this should be a foundation for a pretty good episode. Hopefully, it’s one that has a few twists that we don’t see coming. As it is, this episode is continuing to give us the CBS trend of not giving away too much in advance.
