Hawaii Five-0 New Year’s resolutions for Danny, Steve, and more

Who wants a set of Hawaii Five-0 New Year’s resolutions? With 2018 quickly approaching, and with no new episode coming on CBS until January 5, isn’t now the best time to start looking ahead?

Rest assured that there are no spoilers ahead as to what’s coming up; yet, we do have a fun list of what some of these characters should be thinking about as New Year’s resolution. While we may love our Ohana just the way that they are (someone cue that Bruno Mars song), isn’t there still room to grow? CarterMatt likes to think so.

Steve McGarrett – Take Eddie the Dog to the dog park — the more scenes with Eddie, the better! Also, try to take a few of the suggestions of the stress-management expert from earlier this season. Just don’t change the person that you are.

Danny Williams – Don’t let McGarrett shave your head. We were a little worried about that when they were all quarantined together. Also, get the restaurant off the ground at least enough to have a soft opening. Nothing warms our soul quite like the thought of Steve and Danny fighting with each other in front of paying customers.

Tani Rey – Find some stability at home with your brother, and also take on your first major undercover case. With Five-0, isn’t it better sometimes to be thrown right into the fire?

Junior Reigns – Act completely rebellious and crazy for one day just to see how Steve and Danny react. After being so straight-laced and by the book we’d be fine if there was an episode that forced Junior to go undercover at a karaoke bar or something else ridiculous. Make it happen!

Grover – Find more inner happiness and peace. There’s nothing silly or snarky here — we know he’s been through a lot, and there’s an upcoming episode in 2018 where we’re going to see more of that.

Jerry – Run point on a case and go out into the field more — also, brag about how you have the best new haircut on Hawaii Five-0 this season. Take that McGarrett!

Adam – Stick around for a while … please? Can there be a story so Ian Anthony Dale can be cloned so he can do both this show and Salvation year-round? Is that a thing?

Kamekona – Earn a spot on Top Chef — if only CBS and Bravo were owned by the same network.

Eddie the Dog – Call your agent. Demand more screen time.
