Chicago PD season 5 episode 12 spoilers: Who goes missing?

Chicago PD season 5 episode 12 is going to continue a tradition that we’ve seen now through the first handful of episodes this year — putting some of its main characters through hell. So far we’ve had Ruzek at the mercy of both Denny Woods and now Voight while also seeing Halstead cope with some PTSD. Burgess, meanwhile, has been put into a position where she’s seen her one-time partner take his own life; she also lost her relationship when she sided with Intelligence over him.

For Kevin Atwater, what’s going to happen to him in Chicago PD season 5 episode 12 is going to have him continuing on a tough road. Earlier this season he sent his siblings away from the city after they were targeted; during this episode entitled “Captive,” he’s going to find himself in danger of dying. 01/17/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Wednesday) : ATWATER GOES MISSING AND THE TEAM DIGS INTO HIS PAST TO DISCOVER WHY HE’S BEEN TAKEN. When Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) disappears at the house of a convicted felon, the evidence doesn’t look promising – with his belongings and his blood left behind. Intelligence rallies to rescue him before it’s too late. And Atwater struggles for survival faced with not only his captor but also a difficult connection to his past. Also starring Jason Beghe, Jon Seda, Jesse Lee Soffer, Patrick John Flueger, Elias Koteas, Marina Squerciati, Amy Morton and Tracy Spiridakos. Guest starring Mekhi Phifer, Jesse Garcia and Joshua Torrez.

Basically, this episode could be one of the best for LaRoyce Hawkins this season and maybe ever; typically, Atwater is a confident guy who knows his surroundings and is able to take on almost any challenge thrown at him. It’s going to be a little bit of a different situation here where he’s stripped of most of what he’s good at and at the mercy of someone else. He’s going to have to rely on his survival skills, his police training for situations under duress, and some of his colleagues in Intelligence to figure out how to save him. All signs point towards this being one of the best episodes of the season.
