Ink Master season 10 cast tells crazy tattoo stories

Ink Master season 9 finale video

The Ink Master season 10 cast is starting to be unveiled, and in the video below you can see what some of the upcoming artists have to say in response to one simple question: What’s one of the craziest tattoo clients that you’ve ever had?

Some of the stories that are shared in here are pretty darn priceless. After all, you’ve got one artist who claims that their client wanted some really dark stuff tattooed on them, whereas another wanted a cover-up of the tattoo they were currently getting after learning midway through that they were getting by mistake a popular gang sign on them. Another person wanted a cover up on a very private part of their anatomy, whereas one person seemed to enjoy the tattoo process way more than any other person ever has before. Let’s leave that one for the video.

This video is great for giving you a sense as to some of the artists’ personalities on this coming season, and for reminding you of one of the artists appearing after her debut on Ink Master: Angels — Deanna Smith. There are others (including Daniel Silva) who will be a part of season 10 but she’s the only one unveiled here.

This video also gives you a brief sighting of DJ Tambe, who is returning as one of the three “Masters” who is taking part in the Return of the Masters twist for the season. He, Steve Teftt, and Anthony Michaels are all coming back to serve as mentor-like figures for their respective teams of artists. This twist feels fairly similar to when you had Ink Master: Peck vs. Nunez in the past — while we’re somewhat skeptical of whether or not we really need this sort of component (aren’t the tattoos themselves enough of a draw for viewers?), it’s worth giving a chance. The whole Shop Wars twist did end up being far more exciting than we felt like it was going to be moving into the season.
