Will & Grace season 9 episode 8 return date, a surprising guest star

Will & Grace season 9 episode 8

Interested in learning the Will & Grace season 9 episode 8 return date on NBC? Don’t worry, we have that information for you here.

After this current (and lengthy) hiatus — one that was only interrupted briefly by a holiday special — the NBC comedy revival is going to be coming back on Thursday, January 4 with an episode entitled “Friends and Lover.” CarterMatt has the full synopsis below, and it gives you a sense that a notable guest star is going to be stopping by:

01/04/2018 (09:00PM – 09:30PM) (Thursday) : WILL AND GRACE CONSIDER TAKING THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO THE NEXT LEVEL – NICK OFFERMAN GUEST STARS

Will (Eric McCormack) and Grace (Debra Messing) try to convince themselves they are okay with dating the same man, the charismatic “Bad Boy of Bread” (special guest star Nick Offerman). Jack (Sean Hayes) and Karen (Megan Mullally) get an annoying commercial jingle stuck in their heads and must seek medical attention.

What does make this appearance by Offerman so interesting isn’t just that he is the real-life husband of star Megan Mullally, because this is actually not his first appearance on the show. He last appeared more than a decade and a half ago, long before he became a household name while on Parks & Recreation. We love that he’s not just there to work in some storyline alongside his wife and is instead interacting with some of the other characters on the show. The premise of this episode is incredibly ridiculous, mostly because it’s this is all going to blow up in his face dramatically.

Will & Grace has several episodes still to go in its season 9 order, so be prepared for a number of notable and (hopefully) great guest stars! Given that NBC has already renewed the series for a tenth season (they did that before the revival even got off the ground), there was really no reason to be worried about its future from the jump.
