Scorpion season 4 episode 11 video: Sylvester’s defense
While we know Sly to be great at many things, we’re not sure that he is ready to be a defense attorney on par with Saul Goodman. The latest sneak preview for that below is proof of that. As a means to further show that what happened between Cabe and Mark Collins may have been an accident, Sly does his part to offer up a demonstration to a judge about how easy it is to accidentally remove handcuffs.
So what happens in turn? Basically, he ends up accidentally electrocuting the judge and/or torpedoing the entire end results of the case. After watching this it’s suddenly so much harder to think that Cabe is going to get out of this trial a free man.
If there’s one major thing that he does still have going for him, it is probably the tendency of Team Scorpion to make something out of nothing. Right when you may be ready to write someone like Sylvester off, he pulls a rabbit out of his hat. He is resourceful and to go along with that, we know he loves and cares about Cabe very much. That’s the sort of thing that matters more than anything else when you are thinking about what Cabe is up against. It’s one of the biggest reasons why Sylvester is working in this position to begin with.
By the end of Scorpion season 4 episode 11 we hope to have resolution one way or another as to Cabe’s fate — and that in turn, he gets a chance to move forward and work with the team once more. We have enjoyed the arc in that it’s given Robert Patrick some tremendous material, but this doesn’t feel like the sort of story that should last the entirety of the season. There could easily be some other ones that either rise out of the midseason finale (airing on December 18) or early on in the new year.
